Galaxy Dispensary, an independent social equity adult-use cannabis dispensary, will officially open on February 15, 2024. The grand opening will be held from 3 to 7 pm CT at 22214 Governors Highway in Richton Park. Fully open to the public, festivities will include a live DJ, Sesh Bus, a variety of pop-ups from sponsors, food, and free product samples with purchase.
Galaxy Dispensary is owned by Illinois natives and husband-and-wife team Michelle and Rick Ringold, who launched the state's first independent social equity craft cannabis cultivator, Galaxy Labs, in 2020. "We are truly excited to open our first dispensary in Richton Park. The city has been very supportive of our efforts, and we are very appreciative. Galaxy Dispensary is committed to positively engaging with the community, particularly those disproportionately impacted by the war on drugs," shared co-founder Michelle Ringold.
The dispensary is a futuristic, warm, and inviting space that will allow customers to browse an eclectic collection of products that are sure to please all - from the novice to the connoisseur - including Galaxy Labs' proprietary collection of high-quality craft cannabis. Galaxy Dispensary will carry these amazing strains as well as various products from other high-end cultivators.
