HOME IMPROVEMENT DAY

FREE EVENT | JUNE 1, 2024

Home Improvement Day is TOMORROW from 11am-3pm, and it's going to be the biggest one yet! We're giving out Free Building Permits and Prizes!

Anyone interested in learning about Home Improvement, meeting some great contractors, seeing fun demonstrations, or just being outside can attend! Share and tell your friends and family!

Celebrating the International Code Council’s Building Safety Month, there will be food trucks, trusted contractors, vendors, "Ask a Plumber" and "Ask a Electrician!" Don't miss our new Fire Prevention VR experience from the Richton Park Fire Department! For kids, we'll have "Touch-a-Truck" and Bounce Houses!

With over a dozen different sponsors and vendors, this year’s event will cover roofing, decks, flooring, plumbing, landscaping, driveways, electric, windows and doors.
Building Safety is an International Celebration of Safe and Sustainable Structures. As stated in the Village’s “Building Safety Month Proclamation,” Richton Park is committed to recognizing our growth and strength depends on the safety and economic value of the homes, buildings and infrastructure that serve our citizens, both in everyday life and in times of natural disaster.
