Upcoming Richton Park's Black History Events

This year, the Village and Human Relation Commission will be hosting FREE events for you to enjoy, all about Black Pride, success, music, movies, and monumental events throughout history. At our Black History Celebration of Music this Saturday, February 11th, we're going to have great, LIVE entertainment, guest speakers, special performances, vendors, and of course TIMELESS MUSIC!

Also, don't forget we're hosting a couple of special FREE Movie Nights! Friday, February 17th we'll be showing the 2006 critically acclaimed film "Dreamgirls" starring Beyonce Knowles, Jaime Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Jennifer Hudson, and more! This Musical Drama is Rated PG-13.

Friday, February 24th, we'll be showing the 1978 critically acclaimed film "The Wiz" starring Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Richard Pryor, and more! This Musical Fantasy is Rated G.
